Vision
To be the national reference for periodic assessment of dual education students and initial accreditation of training institutions in alignment with national and international quality standards.
Mission
Supporting the Egyptian industrial sectors through:
• Evaluating training quality in training institutions according to the approved standards guide agreed upon by all stakeholders to improve training quality.
• Contributing to capacity building for service providers and company trainers by highlighting strengths, areas for improvement, and recommendations.
• Achieving excellence and sustainability in training performance.
Unit History
• The unit was established in 2022.
• The unit participated in workshops that contributed to setting quality standards for company training, in collaboration with the German Agency for International Cooperation and all system partners.
• The unit, in cooperation with the German Agency for International Cooperation and system partners, implemented the first pilot phase from 2022 to 2023, which included:
o Evaluation of 220 training institutions within the dual education system
o Over 2,000 trainees
o Across 16 governorates
o In two sectors:
o Engineering industries
o Automotive maintenance
o 6 Quality Evaluators
• Due to the success of the first pilot phase, it was agreed to expand the evaluation to other industrial sectors. The unit is currently implementing the second pilot phase with the support and funding of the German Agency for International Cooperation, in collaboration with the Federation. This phase began in 2024 and includes:
o Planned evaluation of 220 training institutions in the dual education system
o Over 2,000 trainees
o Across 14 governorates
o In 5 sectors:
o Engineering industries
o Automotive maintenance
o Garment manufacturing
o Food industries
o Wooden furniture manufacturing
o 8 Quality Evaluators.
Core Functions
• Develop and update training quality standards.
• Conduct periodic evaluation visits to training institutions.
• Issue quality reports outlining strengths, areas for improvement, and general recommendations.
• Receive and address complaints and appeals transparently and impartially.
• Ensure continuous improvement through data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
